I create works across a variety of visual and performance based mediums. I am deeply fascinated with the concept of an “exposed process” and “reinterpretation of materials”. At times, traces of the techniques are apparent or happening in real-time with the aid of the viewers and interactive participants. Through playful methods and recognizable symbols (like collage, coloring, or making wire faces and butterflies) my work approaches topics of the hidden, the developing, and experience of the human essence underpinned by notions of love and liberation.
